Courtney Randleman

Realtor

Courtney recalls her very first experience with a real estate agent as a first-time home buyer. It was a bad one. She was trying to purchase her first home, and the agent helping her didn’t listen to her needs or consider her budget! As it turns out, that’s one of the things that makes Courtney an excellent agent herself. When she decided to get her real estate license, she knew exactly what she didn’t want the experience to be like for her clients.

Courtney loves helping first-time homebuyers and others who may be intimidated by the buying and selling process. She also encourages everyone who is spending money on rent to consider using that money to build equity in a home.

Courtney also loves representing home sellers, walking them through the process of getting their home ready for the market. Staging and preparing a home for the market is one of her strong suits. Courtney is also well-versed in marketing and uses her creativity to give each listing the visibility it should have!

Background

Courtney attended UNC-Charlotte and Peace College which led her to spend a decade in the education field. Although she’s a Cabarrus County native – and Concord will always have a piece of her heart – after visiting Bermuda Run with a college friend Courtney admits she fell in love with Davie County. She knew this where she wanted to settle and quickly made Advance home in 2003.  Courtney now has a heart for country living.

Though Courtney loved educating children, the desire for more flexibility for her own family and the excitement to dive into entrepreneurship led her to real estate.

Now Courtney shares her love of education by volunteering at local schools and joining educational organizations while passionately fulfilling her real estate dreams.

Before joining the Hillsdale team, Courtney first landed at a national brokerage. She earned the coveted ‘Rookie of the Year’ award from WSRAR during her first year in real estate.

When Courtney Isn’t Selling Real Estate

Courtney’s family keeps her on her toes and on the go! Courtney has 4 children—Ivy who attends Davie High School, Harper who attends William Ellis Middle School, Campbell who attends Shady Grove Elementary School and the littlest—and last— baby Ridge who is in preschool. Courtney also dotes on her adult stepdaughter, Roxy who is a manager at Bermuda Village, and her biggest lifetime supporter, Grannie Annie (mom) who lives in Clemmons!

When she isn’t busy with school activities, Courtney loves to hit the road, spending long weekends at her family’s beach home or catching a flight or cruise to explore a new destination! She has a love for western United States and thinks everyone should visit the Mile High City of Denver and enjoy the beauty around it at least once in their lifetime.

It should be noted that aside from her family, philanthropy is her biggest passion. Courtney has served on many non-profit boards throughout her life beginning in middle school. She is the first to jump in when there is a need in or around the community. She has served on the PTO Board at Shady Grove for 11 years and has organized Teacher Appreciation Week every year! Her love for public education and those who serve students will always hold a special place in her heart, and she vows to always give back to them!

Bet You Didn’t Know

Courtney is a girl on the go! And when she goes, there’s nothing she loves more than scouting out a small, local coffee shop along the way. She runs on ‘car-ffeine’ (caffeine in the car, of course) and Jesus.

Courtney's Words to Live By

Every day is a good day, some are just better than others. (Wise words from Courtney’s friend’s late father, Pete Voeller.)
